Ezzrin atau Ahmad Ezzrin Loy Ahmad Sabri, 24, berkata, dia dan abang iparnya, Faris Anuar yang merupakan suami kepada pelakon Elfira Loy diberi kesempatan menyempurnakan jenazah sehingga ke liang lahad dengan memakai pakaian perlindungan diri (PPE).

“Selain pihak KKM (Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia), AJK masjid pun ada membantu dan daripada situ saya serta abang ipar dapat sama-sama tolong uruskan jenazah.

“Walaupun tidak berapa selesa dalam PPE tapi tetap kena pakai untuk patuhi SOP,” katanya ketika dihubungi mStar.

Allahyarham nenek Ezzrin meninggal dunia pada 10.50 malam Khamis di Pusat Perubatan Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (PPUKM), Cheras akibat jangkitan Covid-19.

Saya rasa ini juga adalah tanggungjawab saya sebagai cucu untuk berbakti pada nenek di perjalanan terakhirnya.

Walaupun Allahyarham dijangkiti wabak Covid-19 di hospital, namun Ezzrin berkata mereka sekeluarga reda dengan ketentuan tersebut dan tidak menyalahkan mana-mana pihak.

“Kami reda dengan ketentuan ini dan tak salahkan mana-mana pihak biarpun arwah dijangkiti ketika berada di hospital.

“Cuma saya sedikit terkilan sebab tak dapat berkumpul dengan saudara mara untuk sama-sama adakan majlis tahlil untuk arwah, jadi kami adakan secara kecil-kecil bersama ahli keluarga sahaja,” ujarnya.

Menceritakan lebih lanjut tentang penyakit neneknya, Ezzrin menjelaskan arwah menghidap penyakit kencing manis dan melakukan pembedahan pada minggu kedua Aidilfitri selepas kakinya mula membengkak.

Suami Elfira turut dipakaikan PPE.

“Nenek ada penyakit kencing manis dan masa raya dia makan makanan manis sehingga menyebabkan kaki dia membengkak. Lepas itu memang saya dan mak dapatkan surat kebenaran bawa dia datang KL dari Kedah untuk terus lakukan pembedahan di sini.

“Lepas dah bedah, Alhamdulillah keadaan nenek masa itu dah beransur pulih tapi lima hari selepas itu, doktor maklumkan nenek disahkan positif Covid-19.

“Mula-mula ingatkan arwah dapat daripada mak saya ke apa, sebab mak saya pun buat ujian calitan takut kalau-kalau mak pembawa tapi lepas buat ujian keputusan mak negatif.

“Lepas itu baharu pihak hospital maklumkan memang ada outbreak dalam wad dan menjangkiti ramai lagi pesakit dalam wad pada ketika itu,” jelasnya.

Allahyarham telah selamat dikebumikan di sebuah tanah perkuburan di Kuala Lumpur pada pagi Jumaat.

Elfira atau nama sebenarnya, Nurul Elfira Loy Ahmad Sabri, 27, berkata, Allahyarham neneknya disahkan positif Covid-19 selepas lima hari dimasukkan ke hospital bagi menjalani pembedahan di bahagian kaki.

Katanya, selain arwah beberapa pesakit yang berada di wad yang sama turut terkena jangkitan virus bahaya itu.

“Sebenarnya berat nak cerita belum cukup nafas nak tahan air mata ni.

“Nenek saya warded dekat hospital sebab operation kaki, Alhamdulillah semua okay cuma memang duduk hospital untuk di monitor.

Sementara itu, adik Elfira iaitu pelakon Ahmad Ezzrin Loy bersyukur diberi peluang melaksanakan proses pengebumian Allahyarham dengan memakai pakaian lengkap perlindungan diri (PPE).

“Malam semalam (Khamis) kami kehilangan nenek tersayang. Saya sangat bersyukur dapat menemaninya buat kali terakhir hari ini.

“Terima kasih juga kepada KKM (Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia) kerana menyediakan saya dan Abang Faris (suami Elfira) untuk pengebumian nenek. Alhamdulillah, semuanya dipermudahkan,” katanya.
