“Pemeriksaan awal menunjukkan pesa.kit mengalami penurunan tahap oksigen yang sangat membimbangkan dan r.awatan terapi oksigen telah dimulakan.
“Keadaan pes.akit semakin k.ritikal sehingga kadar oksigen dalam d.arah hanya boleh distabilkan dengan menggunakan mesin b.antuan pernafasan iaitu ventilator,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan di sini hari ini.
Terdahulu, tular di media sosial sejak semalam mengenai seorang pes.akit C0vid 19 di ICU HPP yang mend.akwa dirinya diculik dan dipaksa menjalani ra.watan di wad ICU h.ospital berkenaan walaupun keadaan kesi.hatannya stabil.
Tambah beliau, pegawai per.ubatan pakar perubatan rapi dan ICU telah memaklumkan kepada pes.akit serta ahli keluarganya mengenai keadaan pesa.kit yang berada pada tahap kr.itikal.
“Pihak h.ospital juga telah berulang kali menjelaskan kepada pes.akit serta ahli keluarga mengenai ri.siko yang boleh memb.ahayakan dirinya sekiranya dia tidak membenarkan r.awatan dijalankan.
“Namun pes.akit masih tidak bersetuju dengan r.awatan yang disyorkan dan memohon untuk dibenarkan pulang atas risiko sendiri,” katanya.
Tambahnya, pihak h.ospital masih memantau dan menempatkan pes.akit di ICU walaupun dia enggan menerima r.awatan terapi oksigen dan alat b.antuan pernafasan memandangkan keadaannya yang k.ritikal.
Dalam pada itu, katanya, pihak HPP juga menafikan bahawa pes.akit tidak diberi makanan ketika berada di ICU kerana pihaknya memberikan makanan berbentuk cecair seperti susu bagi memudahkan penghadaman dan mengelakkan berlakunya k.omplikasi.
